Grass Valley in Montreal on-site seeks a PCB Repair Specialist for the evening shift. You will repair sub-assemblies, perform PCBA modifications, and conduct self-inspections per IPC-A-610 Class 2, documenting results in reports.

A high school diploma and 3–5 years in a similar role are required. You must read mechanical/electronic drawings, have French language skills, apply 5S, work well in a team, and be proactive. MS Office knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years experience in PCB repair or similar role.
• Ability to read mechanical/electronic drawings as required by the scope.
• Knowledge of the French language.
• 5S principles knowledge.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

The PCB Repair Specialist will perform repairs, modification and retrofit tasks on sub-assemblies and assemblies.

Your Role

• Perform simple and complex repairs -BGA (Ball Grid Array- Semiconductor Packaging);
• Perform self-inspection according to IPC-A-610 Class 2;
• Perform basic soldering according to IPC-2 standard and electronic assembly;
• Complete various reports related to the job;
• Apply PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) modifications , if required.

Who you are

• High school diploma or equivalent experience;
• Three (3) to five(5) years experience in a similar role;
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electronic drawings, as required by the scope of work;
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail;
• Knowledge of the French language;
• Methodical approach to work;
• Commitment to applying and maintaining 5S principles in the workplace;
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
• Ability to navigate computer systems and efficiently retrieve job-related information;
• Strong customer-focused mindset;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of taking initiative.
