What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with livestock monitoring system setup and configuration
- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting and support
- Conduct remote training and review of system operation
- Maintain computers and livestock technology products, including software upgrades
- Document software, hardware, and warranty-related issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or DEC (2-year college degree) with livestock or technical emphasis
- French proficiency (written and spoken) if located in Quebec; English is required for other Canadian provinces
- Valid motor vehicle driver's license without restriction
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and Microsoft Office skills
- Willingness to travel 50-60% within the region, with occasional travel to the U.S.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with herd management software (DC305, PC Dart, Bovisync, etc.)
- Previous livestock experience, such as working on a farm
