The Account Specialist is responsible for acquiring the materials and resources required for the business. He/she manages several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project, applying knowledge across multiple functional areas.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable;
  • Develop and implement strategies with suppliers;
  • Negotiate with suppliers;
  • Support supplier submissions for new programs;
  • Oversee supplier performance including delivery, quality, cost, and continuous improvement;
  • Strategically evaluate supplier capacity and participate in strategic sourcing;
  • Manage the entire supply chain including logistics;
  • Coordinate events with suppliers such as forums and evaluations.
Qualifications for Success
  • Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience;
  • Solid knowledge of systems and materials planning (MRP); SAP knowledge is an asset;
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills;
  • Autonomous, persistent, versatile, with a strong business sense;
  • Ethical and respectful;
  • Creative problem-solving skills;
  • Customer service orientation;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize under pressure;
  • Project management skills;
  • Knowledge of the aerospace industry;
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

This role requires fluency in English for reading technical documentation and communicating with international clients and colleagues, in addition to working in a primarily French-speaking environment.
