This is a remote position.

Your day-to-day

1. Implement DevOps infrastructure projects
2. Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
3. Design, develop, and scale infrastructure-as-code
4. Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions
5. Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
6. Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
7. Secure, scale, and manage Linux virtual environments
8. Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
9. Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement
10. Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture
11. Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
12. Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
13. Support and collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
14. Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
15. Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team
16. Maintain Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) using frameworks such as Terraform, AWS SDK, and CloudFormation
17. Build ETL/ELT solutions for large-scale data pipelines within AWS Cloud
18. Deploy Kubernetes platform in AWS EKS and assist the Product Team with solution design, Helm chart configuration, and migrating environment variables and secrets from non-AWS sources

Requirements

• Experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (e.g., Kubernetes/ECS)
• Expertise with AWS
• Version control system experience (e.g., Git)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Ability to drive goals and milestones while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
• Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Strong understanding of microservices and related architectures
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills for building professional relationships
• Prior experience in the cryptocurrency industry is a plus
