Join the Business Solutions Engineering team in the Specialist, Software Engineering (SAP SuccessFactors) position, where the next generations of software applications are being developed to enable CMHC to achieve its mission. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative software solutions. You will act as a point of contact for all stakeholders in order to ensure business requirements are understood and met, all while supporting continuous improvement through CMHC’s SuccessFactors system.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the client community to determine their system needs, document the current and proposed business processes, and advise clients of the proposed solutions and their impacts.
- Author technical specification documents and diagrams for new and existing solutions.
- Design and implement the SAP SuccessFactors solutions according to business requirements, ensuring high-quality code standards and the delivery of efficient, scalable solutions.
- Configure integrations with other CMHC systems, such as Microsoft D365 ERP ((Finance and Operations) using Dell Boomi.
- Participate in the testing and defect resolution process and deployment activities.
- Stay updated on new the SAP SuccessFactors features, best practices, and industry trends to continually improve system capabilities.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience programming, developing, and implementing business applications is essential. The candidate must possess advanced skills in designing applications to meet business objectives and be able to create and implement standards, best practices, and reference designs.
- A minimum of two (2) years of industry experience in Human capital management (HCM) and SuccessFactors technology.
- A strong ability to establish and apply development best practices.
- A passion for technology and motivation that is driven by technical challenges and innovation.
- A desire to continuously grow your expertise through learning and professional development.
- Previous experience leading and mentoring junior developers and performing code reviews.
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment, with the ability to solve complex problems and engage in challenging projects.
- Proven interpersonal, leadership and business competencies, including teamwork, facilitation, communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong experience with SuccessFactors modules (EC / Time Management / RCM / ONB / PMGM / LMS / CDP / RMK / IAS).
- Experience supporting Dell Boomi.
- Knowledge of Web Service APIs, Integration Center, SSO Setup.
- Experience working with cloud platforms; Azure DevOps, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and Git.
- Certification in any one of SuccessFactors modules.
