Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Senior Vendor Audit & Contract Compliance lead to manage day-to-day activities, drive audit planning, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts and financial data, negotiating recoveries, and guiding on compliance while advancing continuous improvement and supplier governance programs across multiple functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in SCM, Contract Management, Audit, Compliance, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience interpreting and applying complex commercial contracts, procurement agreements, and contract compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of procurement and contracting practices, internal controls, governance processes, and compliance principles.
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check.

• Coordinate with Internal Audit, external auditors, suppliers, and business stakeholders to execute and report on vendor audits
• Review contracts, financial data, and transactions to validate compliance and support audit findings
• Assist with negotiations and resolution of audit findings to maximize recoveries and strengthen supplier accountability
• Provide guidance on contractual, compliance, and commercial matters
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Legal, Accounts Payable, Internal Audit, and business partners
• Support continuous improvement through corrective actions, process enhancements, and best-practice adoption
• Monitor industry trends and audit practices and recommend improvements
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to drive program awareness, engagement, and successful outcomes
• Safeguard Enbridge’s commercial interests through oversight of the Vendor Audit & Contract Compliance program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, Audit, Compliance, Finance, or a related field
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience interpreting and applying complex commercial contracts, procurement agreements, and contract compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience assessing contractual, financial, and operational data to identify risks, compliance issues, and value recovery opportunities
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
  • Strong negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting findings and recommendations
  • Knowledge of procurement and contracting practices, internal controls, governance processes, and compliance principles
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and work independently in a complex business environment
  • Preferred: enrollment in or completion of a professional designation or certification in Supply Chain Management, Audit, Compliance, Accounting, or Contract Management (e.g., SCMA/PMAC, CPSM, CPA, CIA, CFE)
  • Preferred: experience supporting or overseeing vendor audit, contract compliance, recovery audit, or supplier governance programs
  • Preferred: knowledge of SOX controls, internal audit practices, and risk management frameworks
  • Preferred: experience supporting supplier negotiations, dispute resolution, and financial recovery initiatives
  • Preferred: knowledge of Oracle Cloud, SAP, or other procurement and contract management systems
  • Preferred: experience applying continuous improvement methodologies and change management principles
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
