Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Specialist, Reliability (Fly-In Fly-Out) at the Meliadine operation. The role reports to the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor and focuses on promoting Agnico Eagle’s safety and environmental standards while ensuring reliable maintenance across equipment fleets.

The position requires a mechanical engineering background, 3-5 years in reliability, and expertise in process improvement, ERP systems, and workshop facilitation.

Qualificações

• Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of reliability experience in a similar role with mobile or fixed equipment.
• Experience in reengineering or process definition, mapping and measuring existing processes; designing and implementing new processes.
• Experience with major ERP packages, preferably as a Reliability Engineer.
• Ability to define and lead project-based workshops.
• Mining experience is an asset.
• English is the official working language at Meliadine.

Responsabilidades

• Report to the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor within the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure consistent application of maintenance processes across the organization, including JD Edwards integration.
• Develop plans to eliminate or reduce losses via root-cause analysis.
• Lead the implementation of KPIs for maintenance processes with the team.
• Participate in budget and life-of-mine (LOM) processes to understand cost structure.
• Analyze repetitive critical equipment failures and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance, management and technical personnel.
• Ensure safe, efficient and reliable maintenance performance.
• Test and improve implementations with stakeholders.

Your next challenge:

• Reporting to the Maintenance Planning General Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
• Ensure the consistent application of Maintenance processes throughout the AEM organization, especially as it relates to implementations of the Maintenance process and JD Edwards;
• Develop a plan to eliminated or reduce the losses through root cause analysis;
• Lead the implementation of Key Performance Indicators for Maintenance processes with the team;
• Participate in the budget and the life of mine (LOM) process for better understanding of the cost structure;
• Analyze repetitive critical equipment failure and make recommendations on improvement actions;
• Provide a technical support to production, maintenance, management and technical personnel;
• Ensure the safest, most efficient and reliable maintenance performance;
• Test and improve the implementation with the stakeholders;
• Direct the integration of Maintenance processes with other organizational processes;
• Forecast the spare parts inventory.

What you need to succeed

• Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• 3-5 years of experience in the reliability field, in a similar role, either with Mobile or Fixed equipment;
• Experience in reengineering or process definition, mapping and measuring existing processes as well as analyzing, modifying, designing and implementing new processes;
• Experience with major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) package, preferably implementation experience as a Reliability Engineer;
• Ability to define and lead project-based workshops;
• Be comfortable, with all models of failure measurement;
• Mining experience is considered an asset;
• Note that the official working language at Meliadine is English.

Your work schedule:

Schedule: Hybrid or 14/14 schedule;

A hybrid schedule consists of 2 weeks working from home (Monday to Friday) followed by a 7 day rotation at site and then 7 days off;

Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
