Job summary

Cameco is seeking a skilled P2P Process Improvement Specialist to support the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of our procurement-to-pay processes across Canadian operations. In this role, you will:

• support the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of procurement-to-pay (P2P) processes used across Camecos Canadian operations in alignment with process-based management methodology.
• use and lead various analytical tools and methods, such as data analysis and root cause investigation, to identify opportunities and implement solutions for increased process efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
• develop and maintain process maps, process documentation, and related resources to support business objectives and end-user adoption.
• facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to address challenges, document requirements, validate process or solution design, and ensure alignment between business objectives and process outcomes.
• navigate and build consensus among cross functional teams and stakeholders to reach mutually beneficial outcomes and end-user adoption.
• provide subject matter expertise and guidance on P2P processes, practices, and improvements.
• support data-driven decision making by preparing reports, monitoring key performance indicators or key behavior indicators, and communicating process-related information to a variety of internal audiences.

Required:

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field;
• Minimum five years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain process improvement;
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
• High level of computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software;
• Strong experience with process mapping, workflows, analytical tools, or process management tools (e.g., Signavio, Visio, lean, etc.).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
