Job summary

Cameco is seeking an Analyst to support sales efforts and strategic analysis for its global marketing and sales initiatives. You will help manage the full sales cycle, prepare offers, and engage in negotiations while delivering clear reports and presentations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, marketing or related field, at least three years of experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Domestic and international travel are required; local office work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, marketing or related field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent writing skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; knowledge of economic modelling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the full sales cycle, including identifying commercial opportunities, preparing sales recommendations, managing internal approval processes, preparing offers for submission, engaging in commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
• Deliver written and verbal reports, work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment and prepare customized presentations for the marketing team.
• Represent Cameco professionally to meet with customers, attend conferences, and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders across the nuclear fuel industry.
• Perform market, economic and strategic analysis in support of the companys global marketing initiatives.

Required:

• bachelors degree in commerce, finance, marketing or a related field;
• a minimum of three years of relevant work experience;
• exceptional computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel, Word, Co-pilot and PowerPoint;
• knowledge of economic modelling and financial metrics;
• excellent writing skills;
• exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous learning;
• domestic and international travel is a requirement of this position; and
• ability to work locally at Cameco corporate office.

Recommended:
