SaskPower in Saskatchewan seeks a Specialist, Physical Security & Investigations (NERC) to serve as a subject matter expert and central point of contact for security governance and program administration.
The role develops and maintains the organization’s cyber and physical security awareness, coordinates phishing awareness, and ensures compliance with NERC CIP standards while supporting stakeholder audits.

This position falls within the requirement for Personnel Risk Assessment to meet compliance requirements of NERC-CIP (North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection). A Criminal Record Check must be valid and/or completed prior to being appointed to this position and then on a recurring basis every seven (7) years.
The Specialist is accountable to provide subject matter expertise and administration of a specialized function. As a member of SaskPower’s management team, this position is responsible to act as a central point of contact in the management and administration of strategic and operational functions, providing expert advice and direction that aligns with departmental and corporate goals and objectives.
This position will develop and maintain the organization’s cyber and physical security awareness program, including phishing campaigns, while managing compliance with NERC CIP cyber standards and supporting stakeholder audits.
