Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for a Specialist, Marketing Automation, to join our team reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing. This is a one-year temporary contract role.

As a Specialist, Marketing Automation, you will be responsible for building and developing customer journeys and marketing automation campaigns for email, in-app, push notifications, and content cards, while optimizing and reporting on performance. You will have the capabilities to develop, implement, and deploy complex HTML email builds while ensuring a flawless user experience. The role aims to achieve growth targets while improving segmentation, personalization, customer attraction, engagement, renewal, and retention. You will also work on larger initiatives like the Enterprise Automation project and User Centric Database, gaining exposure to industry-leading tools.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
  • Providing thought leadership and strategy on new campaign opportunities and optimization techniques to grow email and SMS programs, evaluating performance to refine company goals.
  • Leading the development and execution of email and SMS marketing campaigns, including segmentation, testing, deployment, optimization, tracking, and reporting across all business lines.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather needs, prioritize opportunities, and implement data-driven email journeys using marketing automation tools.
  • Developing strategies to increase customer lifetime value through targeted communication funnels.
  • Optimizing conversion points across channels using data and A/B test results.
  • Monitoring industry trends and best practices to inform growth strategies.
  • Spearheading marketing automation initiatives, including strategy, infrastructure, and growth.
  • Implementing continuous process improvements for efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Managing customer data, lists, and segments to ensure relevant communications.
  • Troubleshooting errors with internal and external teams.
  • Creating mobile-responsive email templates in HTML with content from the content team.
  • Supporting email migration strategies and project management.
  • Ensuring compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and marketing regulations, including CASL.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • 3-5+ years of digital marketing experience, especially in marketing automation or email marketing platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in a related field.
  • Strong technical skills in HTML and CSS for email deployment.
  • Experience in designing user-journey funnels for cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Ability to operate in agile/sprint environments, managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Pinpoint and Mailchimp.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a solutions-led approach.
  • Understanding of marketing and sales workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
