Join Sun Life as an Analyst on the HR Digital Solutions team, where you'll blend technology, teamwork, and a passion for supporting our HR platforms - especially Workday. On our Service Delivery team, you are the backbone of our HR systems that support our employees, working cross functionally to ensure our technology is user-friendly, compliant, and impactful. Your responsibilities include maintaining business processes, partnering to resolve user issues and ensuring our HR Technology platforms remain stable, compliant and effective.
This role is perfect for someone with foundational Workday experience who's ready to take on more ownership of post-production support and sustaining core operations. We're looking for someone who adapts to new systems with ease, has a passion for improving user experiences, and possesses a strong desire to learn new technologies and ways of working.
What Will You Do?
Reporting & Analytics :
Translate reporting needs into clear, compliant outputs, and verify their accuracy before distribution
Schedule reports while considering audit requirements and business timing
Design, build, and test Workday reports and dashboards to empower HR and business leaders
Access Management & Security :
Manage Workday security groups and user access following documented procedures
Troubleshoot common access issues such as missing tasks or reports
Maintain internal and external confidentiality standards to protect sensitive data
Configuration & Testing :
Grow your configuration, security and report writing skills in Workday
Identify and understand dependencies to avoid downstream impacts
Participate in testing new releases, enhancements, and fixes
Identify inefficiencies and recommend ways to simplify or enhance user experience
Maintain clean, clear, and current documentation to support knowledge sharing
What Do You Need to Succeed?
2+ years’ experience in HR processes and programs
Understanding of HR processes, business rules, and data relationships
Team-first attitude - listening, sharing knowledge, and supporting your peers
Ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional, global, and remote teams
Creative thinker with excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Dedication to upholding confidentiality and protecting data privacy
You are a self-starter who is curious and takes initiative
