Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, we are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to lead the strategy and execution of our email and SMS channels. This role plays a key part in driving customer engagement and supporting our sales and retention objectives. You will collaborate with Content, Creative, eMerchandising, CRM, Loyalty, and Marketing Automation teams to deliver cohesive, high-performing campaigns aligned with brand and business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the email and SMS marketing strategy to support business goals, drive revenue, and deepen customer engagement across Canada
  • Manage the email calendar, ensuring alignment with product launches, campaigns, promotions, and business priorities.
  • Own end-to-end execution—from strategic planning and segmentation to deployment, testing, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create personalized, targeted content tailored to customer behaviors and journeys.
  • Work closely with the CRM & Loyalty teams to support retention strategies and optimize customer journeys (e.g., increase frequency, basket size, cross-category shopping, or omnichannel growth).
  • Develop and execute A/B testing strategies (subject lines, content, design, timing, etc.) to enhance campaign performance.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as open rates, CTRs, conversions, and ROI to inform continuous optimization.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, with proven success in campaign strategy and execution.
  • Strong grasp of email/SMS best practices, platforms, and performance metrics.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns.
  • Data-driven with strong analytical skills and a focus on performance improvement.
  • Experience in the retail industry is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
