About the role

Join the Digital Platforms team in the Specialist, Digital Content position. In this role, you willlead the development and execution of content strategy for CMCH’s digital platforms. You will also ensure that content adheres to industry best practices and resonates with the target audience.

This is a temporary position of a duration of 12 months

What you’ll do:
  • Lead digital content production and optimization in line with strategic objectives.
  • Co‑develop and execute a unified content strategy for CMHC's digital platforms.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and enhance content strategy and execution.
  • Optimize content for search engines using keyword research, meta tag optimization, and on‑page SEO techniques.
  • Conduct regular content audits to assess effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with SEO best practices, as well as brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with stakeholders to pinpoint content opportunities and address gaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and meeting the needs of target audiences.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and provide data‑driven optimization recommendations.
  • Maintain editorial calendars for consistent content production and in alignment with marketing campaigns.
What you should have:
  • An undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, business administration (or related discipline) or college diploma in digital marketing.
  • A minimum of five years of prior relevant experience in developing content strategies.
  • Knowledge of digital content development and performance, as well as SEO, UX and analytics best practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, including the ability to persuade others and to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
  • A strong understanding of how digital channels function, with an emphasis on websites.
  • A strong attention to detail when creating and reviewing content.
  • A basic understanding of HTML, excel and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Teamwork, project management and relationship‑building skill.
