Job summary

Moneris seeks a seasoned Data Governance professional to implement and automate enterprise governance standards across our data platform. You will configure Snowflake governance features, including Horizon Catalog, data lineage, and access controls, and collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, Security and business teams to embed governance into data products.

Required 5+ years in data governance/management, hands-on Snowflake, DBT, GitHub, and SQL/Python proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Engineering, Data Management, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with SnowFlake, including Horizon Catalog, Lakehouse architecture, and Data Lineage.
• Experience with DBT models and frameworks.
• Experience using GitHub and CI/CD practices to support deployment and governance workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with one or more data governance platforms, including Collibra or Microsoft Purview.
• Knowledge of metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality solutions.
