Job summary

Moneris Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support the enterprise network infrastructure powering our payment processing platforms. This role involves leading projects from design through handoff and acting as Tier 3 support for critical production systems.

You will work with Cisco Nexus, Arista, Palo Alto, F5, and Azure networking, driving network modernization, automation adoption, and security hardening in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Expertise in network design, routing, switching, including BGP and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista EOS, Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, and F5 BIG-IP.
• Experience with network automation using Python, Terraform, Ansible, APIs.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives.

The successful candidate will act as a technical subject matter expert, own assigned initiatives, provide Tier 3 support for critical production systems, and collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, Development, and Architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.This role offers the opportunity to work across enterprise networking, security, and automation initiatives supporting mission-critical payment processing platforms. You will lead technical projects from design through operational handoff while leveraging technologies such as Cisco Nexus, Arista, Palo Alto, F5, Azure networking, and Infrastructure as Code. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help drive network modernization, infrastructure hardening, automation adoption, and operational excellence within a highly regulated environment. The position provides significant ownership, technical breadth, and exposure to complex enterprise and hybrid cloud architectures.Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Senior Manager, Network Infrastructure.Posting Type: Replacement.Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is 113,000 to $149,000.Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions.
