About This Opportunity

The Security Specialist is primarily responsible for maintaining and implementing physical security programs and equipment at Coke Canada Bottling’s facilities. Based in Montreal and reporting to the Director of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment, the Security Specialist collaborates with Security Managers and business partners across all Operating Units to provide guidance on security matters.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain security practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
  2. Ensure security equipment and systems operate correctly, inventory equipment, and escalate issues to management. Coordinate with Information Technology team as needed.
  3. Serve as the point of contact for maintenance and repair of security equipment.
  4. Address security inquiries related to equipment maintenance and site requests.
  5. Provide recommendations on security equipment and design projects in collaboration with Security Managers and partners.
  6. Act as the first contact for Quebec locations, conduct investigations and audits, and support urgent/emergency situations outside normal hours.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably with courses in law enforcement or relevant fields.
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate security.
  3. Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
  4. Experience with electronic access control and surveillance systems.
  5. Knowledge of investigative practices and enforcement strategies.
  6. Familiarity with evidence collection and handling protocols.
  7. Experience in delivering presentations, training, and communicating findings.
  8. Proficiency with IT tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to prepare reports and logs.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  11. Strong analytical skills, investigative techniques, and good judgment.
  12. Initiative, resourcefulness, and sound decision-making skills.
