Job summary

COFOMO is seeking a Senior Specialist Architectural Consultant (WiFi) in Montreal to define and design the technical architecture of information systems, ensuring security, integration, and scalability. You will collaborate with development teams, manage risks, and act as a technical reference for stakeholders and suppliers.

The role requires 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in architecture, strong Agile experience, and prior architectural consultancy on large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a relevant field.
• At least ten years in IT, with five years related to architectural specialty.
• Eight+ years as an architectural consultant.
• Participation in at least three large-scale development projects as an architectural consultant.
• Knowledge of the health field is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Define and design the technical architecture of information systems taking into account functional, operational and security needs.
• Develop sustainable technology solutions in line with strategic directions and industry best practices.
• Ensure consistent integration of systems and data by leveraging recognized technologies and considering impacts on existing systems.
• Collaborate with development teams during the design phases to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic directions.
• Manage technological risks, ensure solutions comply with current standards and regulations and supervise their implementation.
• Act as a technical reference for stakeholders and suppliers to recommend solutions adapted to needs and business directions.
• Lead opportunity and impact analyses to ensure consistency of solutions with business objectives and technological constraints.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and modernization of existing systems to ensure their sustainability and performance.
• Facilitate working groups with stakeholders and vendors to clarify architecture needs and issues.
• Supervise and train teams on tools and methodologies related to architecture and technology solutions.
