Note: This role requires relocation to Blue Mountain or the surrounding area.

Job Description

Joining us means becoming part of an extraordinary and exciting company! As a key team player reporting to your Chef, you will collaborate closely with the events team. You will take pride in your menus and contribute to the culinary team's daily execution. You'll learn our systems and procedures and be first in line for internal opportunities. Bring professional, enthusiastic ownership to your dishes each day and help set our restaurants apart by assisting the FOH team to create a memorable guest experience!

THE DAY to DAY :

  • You are creative, detail-oriented, and skilled in creating menus, going above and beyond for our guests' special events.
  • You are punctual, focused, and a positive influence on the team.
  • You have a strong background in cooking and recipe creation, enjoy learning, and welcome feedback.
  • You contribute to monitoring kitchen operations and cleanliness.
  • You build and maintain relationships with fellow cooks and chefs, fostering a positive experience with the FOH teams.
  • You communicate regularly about upcoming menus and events; you are adept at ordering and inventory management.
  • You embody leadership and are passionate about training and coaching fellow cooks and co-op students.
  • You demonstrate high personal integrity, business ethics, and actively promote the restaurant; photos of your dishes are encouraged!
  • You possess conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a similar environment.
  • A passion for food and culinary excellence.
