About The Position

• Join our team of professional drivers dedicated to getting students to and from school safely
• Drivers enjoy the support of our industry-leading technology to guide them through their daily routes
• Prioritize vehicle maintenance by conducting pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus
• Must be physically fit as you may need to lift children and be able to move and tie down wheelchairs which will require you to bend, kneel, and stretch, push and pull

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills
• At least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license for at least 2 years
• Patience, caring, attention to detail, and communication skills are a must
• Undergo & pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination & background checks
• You must provide your driving abstract from Access Nova Scotia
• Pass a medical for a class 2 license
• Complete two tests at Access Nova Scotia before taking your road test for your class 2B license
