Job summary

MDA Space is seeking an Engineering Student for the EGSE and Test Data Processing team in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The role is a 4-month mandate starting January 2027 with potential extension, treating you like a new graduate in terms of responsibilities.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop spacecraft electronic equipment, DC power supplies and regulator circuitry using PCB technology, while contributing to designs and supporting documentation such as

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate some electronic design activity, academic only is fine and a willingness to learn.
• Strong teamwork capabilities, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design of test stations and test equipment for power converters.
• Preparation of conceptual drawings.
• Design simulations (LTSpice or PSpice).
• Creation of electrical diagrams and PCBs.
• Material lists and assembly drawings.
• Manufacturing support for electrical assembly and testing activities.
• Support for test documentation such as writing test procedures, user manuals and other test-related documents
