Job summary

MDA Space in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, is seeking an Engineering Student for a 4-month mandate (possible extension to 8 months) starting January 2027. The role mirrors a new graduate, with tasks aligned to schooling and experience.

You will join the Digital department, supporting teams designing analog, digital or power electronic systems, PCB design, lab activities, and testing. Mentorship is provided to help you develop skills in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, PSPICE and PCB workflows.

Qualifications

• Fifth semester completed toward a Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering before start.
• Dynamic, eager to learn, and demonstrates initiative.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support analog, digital or power electronics design teams.
• Assist in PCB design activities and BOM management.
• Support lab activities: prototyping, characterization, testing, reporting.
• Help develop test plans and automation via scripting.
