Job summary

Kepler Communications, based in Toronto, invites interns to join our software team working on satellite network and mission control systems. You’ll contribute to Python-based backend services, testing, and documentation while collaborating with operators and product managers in a fast-paced space-tech environment.

You will have the opportunity to work onsite at our Toronto office (24 Ward Street) or in a hybrid setup, with mentorship and hands-on learning throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Prior internship experience using Python to develop back end services.
• Prior experience supporting software development and test writing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to studies after the internship.

Responsibilities

• Support software design and development for Kepler’s satellite network and mission control systems.
• Collaborate with operators and product managers to deliver mission-critical ground systems.
• Write thorough tests and documentation.
• Participate in design and code review processes.
