MDA Space in Brampton is seeking a DevOps Software Engineer/Member of Technical Staff to accelerate software delivery and build standardized environments for multiple languages.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, automate tests, enforce code standards and traceability, and collaborate with senior engineers to evolve tooling and processes. Security clearance may be required and Canadian work authorization preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in software/DevOps roles; required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; essential.

• Interested in scalable, long-term solutions across programs.

Mansioni

• Create standardized development environments for projects integrating tools.
• Build tools (e.g. CMake, Bazel, Pants) and automation.
• Add automated testing tools/frameworks for multiple languages and levels of testing.
• Implement automated linting/formatting tools (e.g. Clang-tidy, Clang-format).
• Define and track requirements tools (e.g. Jira, DOORS).
• Provide test reporting to ILM; ensure traceability.
• Maintain code metrics and reporting tools (e.g. SonarQube).
• Set up CI pipelines (e.g. Jenkins).
• Manage artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory).
• Monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana; containerize apps with Docker.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and management to enforce standards.
