MDA Space is seeking a Software Developer Student for a 12-16 month mandate at our Brampton office, starting January 2027. The role focuses on contributing to the design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of modular, extendable software solutions for ground and flight systems.

You will work under guidance on tasks that broaden your engineering skills, gain real-world experience, and participate in flight and ground software development efforts.

We’re on the hunt for a Software Developer Studenton our Robotics & Space Operations team at our Brampton office, starting January 2027 for a 12-16 month mandate.

With 40 years of operational experience and proven performance on the iconic Canadarm programs including Space Shuttle and International Space Station robotics and operations support, our Robotics & Space Operations team has 100% mission success in making space dreams come true.

As our Software Developer Student, you will contribute as part of a team to the design, implementation, maintenance and testing of software solutions that are modular, extendable, testable, and efficient. As part of the team you’ll be encouraged to learn and take on flight and ground software development tasks that broaden your experience and skillset.

Responsibilities:
