Job summary

MDA Space is seeking a Production/Traceability Assistant to support receiving, inspection, and production activities. You will help with packaging, assembly, and basic machining tasks in a busy space hardware environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience, DEC/DES or equivalent, and must obtain a reliability status security clearance. French knowledge is required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and data management.

Qualifications

• DEC, DES or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Security clearance at the reliability status and CGP needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and inspect at basic arrival; update the database.
• Assist production operations (sandblasting, component prep, production cells).
• Prepare and package parts; build packaging for ground components.
• Read plans and verify torques after assembly.
• Assemble base cables around bodies to create helical coils.
• Assist R&D personnel and perform related tasks.
