Job summary

Rocket Lab Corp. in Toronto, Canada, invites motivated Mechanical Engineering students to join as Spring 2027 interns. You will support the development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical aspects of reaction wheel and star tracker products.

You will work under a mentor, collaborate across teams, and participate in weekly 1:1s and intern events to accelerate learning and deliver results.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program in mechanical or aerospace engineering and have at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project).
• Experience designing parts and assemblies with CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support development, test, and maintenance of mechanical aspects of reaction wheel and star tracker products.
• Collaborate with mentors to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend regular 1:1s and provide progress updates.
• Participate in technical talks and intern networking events.
