Job summary

Scandinave Spa Whistler is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a seasonal role through May 16, 2026. Responsibilities include routine and emergency maintenance of spa facilities, aquatic systems, and site grounds to keep guest areas safe, clean and functional.

The role requires knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC, plus a proactive safety mindset and ability to lift up to 25 kg. BC driver's license and a clear criminal record are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance functions including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg and work safely around guests.
• Clear criminal record check and valid BC driver's license.
• Full-time or part-time commitment (24-40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance tasks within spa site and buildings, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Be proactive in identifying potential safety problems and/or required repairs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness for guests.
• Conduct daily pool tests and ensure water quality meets standards.
