• Provide exceptional quality food and service to residents and guests.
• Assist in development, costing and execution of menus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidence when handling resident, employee, and community information.
• Assist in planning menus and menu items, and in reviewing procedures to improve production, service, and safety.
• Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing to ensure quality and presentation.
• Train kitchen staff in proper operating procedures and sanitation of equipment and utensils.
• Enforce cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and assist in ensuring timely meal preparation.
