Job Summary

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Specialist plays a critical role in executing and optimizing the full production cycle for the SOIA & KYO brand. From development through delivery, this individual oversees timelines, supplier performance, quality standards, and cross-functional alignment to ensure operational excellence and timely product launches.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the full production lifecycle from development to bulk delivery and post-season analysis.
  • Establish and track production calendars to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Partner cross-functionally with design, technical development, merchandising, and sales teams to align production objectives.
  • Proactively identify and resolve production challenges with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Monitor factory capacity and allocate production strategically based on seasonal priorities and vendor strengths.
  • Collaborate with planning and sales to anticipate seasonal demand and material requirements.
  • Oversee material flow and raw material commitments to prevent delays or overages.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure smooth and timely shipments.
  • Prepare seasonal performance reports by vendor, including KPI dashboards for on-time delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with brand and vendor certifications, maintaining all relevant documentation.
  • Represent the Production department in internal meetings and project discussions.
  • Perform any other related duties as required by the team or immediate supervisor.

What you’ll bring

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textiles, Supply Chain or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in apparel sourcing/production, ideally in outerwear.

Technical Skills and competencies:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel).
  • Working knowledge of PLM, ERP, and production tracking systems.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and self-motivation.
