Job summary

AMS is seeking a Coordinator – Talent Sourcing to join our Talent Acquisition team and support recruitment across Canada. This hybrid role involves collaborating with Recruiters, reviewing candidate applications, and engaging talent through the hiring journey.

You will communicate in Canadian French and English, maintain candidate data, and help move candidates through Interviews and process steps. Office presence once per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French is essential.
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with candidates in both French and English.
• Strong interpersonal and candidate engagement skills.
• Ability to review candidate profiles and assess alignment with role requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using digital interview platforms and recruitment technology.
• Nice to have: experience in Talent Acquisition, Sourcing or Recruitment Coordination.
• Experience recruiting in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience using ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter or talent databases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Recruiters to support recruitment across Canadian requisitions.
• Review incoming candidate applications and identify suitable candidates.
• Move qualified candidates through the recruitment process.
• Conduct brief engagement calls to explain the recruitment process and digital interviews.
• Respond to candidate questions and relay information to the Recruiter.
• Maintain regular, professional communication with candidates.
• Communicate with candidates in Canadian French and English as required.
• Support proactive sourcing when additional talent is needed.
• Search and engage candidates through talent databases and LinkedIn.
• Re-engage alumni and referral candidates when appropriate.
• Support recruitment for medical device/pharma roles, including field-sales.
• Maintain accurate candidate information in systems.
• Collaborate with Recruitment team to improve candidate experience.

This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office once per week . Working closely with Recruiters, you will play an important role in reviewing candidates, engaging with talent throughout the recruitment process, and helping candidates successfully move through the hiring journey.

While the role may include proactive sourcing when required, the primary focus will be candidate engagement, candidate review and recruitment coordination .

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll do:

• Partner closely with Recruiters to support recruitment activities across Canadian requisitions.
• Review incoming candidate applications and identify candidates who align with role requirements.
• Support the movement of qualified candidates through the recruitment process.
• Conduct brief candidate engagement calls to introduce the recruitment process and explain what candidates can expect from digital interviews.
• Respond to candidate questions and ensure relevant information is communicated to the Recruiter.
• Maintain regular and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Communicate with candidates in Canadian French and English , as required.
• Support proactive sourcing activities when additional talent is required.
• Search and engage candidates through talent databases, LinkedIn and existing talent pools.
• Re-engage previous candidates, alumni and referral candidates where appropriate.
• Support recruitment for roles across the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors, including field-sales positions.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity within relevant systems.
• Collaborate with Recruiters and Talent Acquisition colleagues to deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Support other sourcing and Talent Acquisition initiatives as required.
