Job summary

Purolator is seeking a part-time Sorter PM for our Mount Hope warehouse to sort and route freight by destination, weight, and size, ensuring on-time deliveries. You’ll operate conveyors, load onto linehaul trucks, and support curbside delivery operations in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

No specialized education or prior experience is required. English proficiency is essential to communicate with teammates and drivers as part of our safety-focused, community-driven logistics network.

• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.

• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Description

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
