FedEx Canada is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Mississauga to lead day-to-day sort operations and support Cargo Handlers. You will guide staff in handling, routing, and recovery of service issues, ensuring FXE policy compliance and regulatory adherence.

The role emphasizes mentoring, coaching, and developing teams while maintaining efficient station performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College degree or higher.
• 2 years FedEx sort operations or senior level hourly role experience OR 2 years supervisory experience in related industry.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Ability to complete training and maintain DG certification.
• Mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.
• Inspire a shared vision and empower and motivate a team.
• Prioritize and delegate in a time-sensitive manner.
• Conflict management and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide employees in proper package handling, routing and recovery of potential service failures.
• Oversee all Cargo Handlers functions and direct work activities.
• Mentor, coach, and train staff to comply with FXE policies and gov’t regulations.
