Qualifications

• Typically requires a High School diploma or GED or equivalent and/or a minimum of 1+ years of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Safely perform duties and care for equipment and coworkers.
• Maintain equipment and optimize life of site tools.
• Assist in training new Driller Assistants.
• Be physically fit for work.
• Work under a driller or supervisor with clear guidance.
• Adhere to EHS policies and manage local risk.
• Provide basic first aid when needed.
• Support drilling operations: handle rods and fluids, basic maintenance.
• Operate non-drilling equipment as required.
• Monitor workplace safety and record incidents.
• Maintain daily drill reports and inventory logs.
• Contribute to positive workplace relationships.
• Provide instruction and mentoring to field staff.
