Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

• Develop and document detailed solution designs within SDS, acting as an application SME throughout the design and development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with Architecture.
• Accountable for complex application/system development, programming, and coding.
• Lead the creation of solution options, coordinating stakeholders to support development initiatives.
• Estimate efforts for new projects, working with relevant teams.
• Develop functional, technical, and UI designs that meet business, architecture, and performance standards.
• Consult on system requirements specifications and apply functional knowledge to design software/system solutions.

SHAREHOLDER

• Review technical deliverables to ensure quality and identify gaps.
• Work with project teams to define metrics and performance goals.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise technology practices, standards, and project disciplines.
• Deliver solutions on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategic solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and support operational readiness.
• Support knowledge management and reuse of components.
• Address application and data issues, ensuring application integrity.
• Provide technical support for escalated incidents.

EMPLOYEE / TEAM

• Continuously update technical knowledge and stay current with trends.
• Manage workload to meet quality and timeline expectations.
• Support a positive work environment focused on service, quality, and teamwork.
• Recommend productivity and efficiency improvements.

BREADTH & DEPTH

• Perform complex technical tasks independently.

• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to others.
• Lead detailed project planning and understand integration risks.
• Typically report to an IT Manager or higher.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Additional Requirements

• Extensive knowledge in IMS DB/DC, SAS, DB2, and related technologies.
• Nice-to-have skills include Netron Cap, Test Sets, Service Now, and others listed.
