As a Solutions Engineering Manager at Ambyint, reporting to the Head of Business Development - Canada, you will play a key role in identifying, qualifying, supporting, and closing new business and expansion opportunities. Your focus will be on building strong relationships and increasing market share for our SaaS solutions. This strategic, consultative role requires a deep understanding of the Oil & Gas sector, directly influencing operations within Exploration and Production organizations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide technical support, expertise, and guidance to Business Development Managers during pre-sales and sales processes.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase our product capabilities.
  • Support onboarding and technical needs for pilot customers.
  • Assist Well Optimization Managed Services customers with technical input and support.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap.
  • Work with Marketing and Business Development to develop growth initiatives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents and use case guides.
  • Conduct product training sessions for the Business Development team to enhance their technical knowledge.
  • Monitor and report on metrics related to pre-sales support and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least five years of experience in upstream oil and gas, in E&P or service provider roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas production and related technologies.
  • Experience in artificial lift optimization, especially plunger lift, rod lift, and gas lift.
  • Self-disciplined with a drive for high performance.
  • Interest in O&G operations, production, and GHG reduction goals.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and develop solutions.
