Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking a Solutions Engineer in the Greater Toronto Area. The role focuses on planning and designing automated systems for Brampton DC, with a hybrid work pattern (4 days in Brampton, 1 day remote).

You will evaluate and implement optimizations across distribution processes, labor models, and technology deployments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive waste reduction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in engineering, logistics, or distribution as a solutions engineer or similar.
• 2+ years of experience implementing warehouse automation or industrial automation solutions.
• Advanced AutoCAD and Excel skills.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related discipline.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design automated systems to increase productivity by integrating people, processes and technology.
• Design and implement improvements to automation equipment for efficiency and productivity.
• Evaluate, analyze and implement improvements to distribution center processes and material handling.
• Manage projects related to facility layout, relocation, new process integration and technology deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts and supply chain specialists.
