Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial (SIG) division is seeking a Solutions Delivery Manager to lead a technical team in providing project implementation services and pre-sales support to clients across North America. This position is open to applicants in Canada and the US and will consider qualified candidates working in a virtual, home office environment. Whether office, or home office based, candidates will be required to travel to client sites in Canada (pursuant to COVID-19 travel restrictions being relaxed or lifted).

Your Mission

Reporting to the Vice President Implementation Services, you will work closely with all levels of the organization to provide efficient and effective services throughout North America. Your experience in at least one of our markets (Transportation, Utilities, Public Safety, GIS, Military or Communications) will be required to be successful in the following key areas related to the support, implementation, consultation and training services for Intergraph’s applications :

  • Resource Management (direct employee and contractor relationships) with respect to recruiting, selection, hiring, team building and individual development including performance management.
  • Resource Planning including the management, coordination and scheduling of all projects, assigning team(s) to projects or clients (as required) in a timely manner in accordance with budget and specified client requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with the VP Sales and the Account Managers to provide support for pre-sales and post-sales activities with preparation of custom demos, benchmarks, trade shows, product seminars and user group presentations.
  • Work closely with Account Managers in performing needs analysis and responding to consulting and technical RFPs, RFQs and creating corresponding responses and SOWs in both official languages
  • Development of project plans and negotiation of contracts, in both official languages, related to professional services according to and following the existing Intergraph bid management process.
  • Preparation and submission of input for annual budgets, strategic plans, monthly and annual forecasts.
  • Continually monitor project status and oversee project status reporting and expenses / timesheet approvals in conjunction with ongoing business requirements and priorities.
  • Track, monitor, and forecast services revenue for the east region.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor or graduate degree in Engineering, Geomatics or Computer Science;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing technical teams within a small to medium sized organization (or division of larger organization);
  • Excellent communications skills (written, spoken and presentation) in both English and French
  • Project Management experience for large to medium scale projects;
  • Direct employment or consulting experience in at least one of the following markets : GIS, Transportation, Utilities, Public Safety, Military or Communications;
  • High level of energy and commitment to the team focused on successfully meeting the objectives / targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Highly motivated self starter with the capability to take initiative;

Nice to Have

  • Professional services revenue generation experience
  • Experience with Hexagon products, solutions and systems
