Optum is seeking to hire an Enterprise Imaging Sales Executive to join its expanding sales team. The Enterprise Imaging Sales Executive will be responsible for leading the sales process and closing new Enterprise Imaging opportunities for the organization.


This role is a field position aligned to our West market and is open to candidates within the United States/Canada who must travel up to 50% of the time based on business needs. The position targets $45M in revenue.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within Canada (except Saskatchewan) as you take on challenging opportunities.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Identify opportunities to grow Radiology and Cloud Solutions in the West Region.
  2. Lead sales projects to capture larger business opportunities, maximizing results through integrated product/service offerings across lines of business.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing, Bid Management, Product Management, Services, and Professional Services to complete sales projects and build relationships.
  4. Resolve major sales objections and customer escalations.
  5. Present solutions to key decision makers, including C-suite executives.
  6. Demonstrate understanding of imaging clinical workflows and technical architecture.
  7. Define and demonstrate imaging solutions with team support, including Product Management and Solution Architects.
  8. Address customer satisfaction issues proactively.
  9. Follow up on company and trade show events to identify and close new sales opportunities.
  10. Propose and influence strategies to grow the imaging market and explore opportunities outside of imaging, such as workflow and infrastructure solutions.
  11. Provide accurate sales reporting and forecasting.

Required Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years in healthcare enterprise imaging.
  2. Knowledge of healthcare trends, standards, and hospital sales strategies.
  3. Exceptional communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex issues for diverse audiences.
  4. Ability to travel within the territory up to 50-75% based on client needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience selling diagnostic imaging solutions, software, and services to hospitals in the US.
  2. Knowledge of healthcare IT, Radiology PACS, Cloud Architecture, and imaging workflows.
  3. Experience with SaaS and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  4. Familiarity with Change Healthcare Imaging and Workflow Solutions.
  5. Proven success in converting competitive accounts and closing sales efficiently.
  6. Reside in Canada.

For Canada Residents: The salary range is $108,600 to $225,500 annually, with potential bonuses based on sales performance. Compensation depends on education, experience, certifications, etc.
