Job summary

PSP Investments | Investissements PSP is seeking a Solution Designer for Public Markets Solutions to architect and guide the development of enterprise tech solutions. You will drive end-to-end design for web applications, data platforms (Snowflake), and API integrations within an Agile framework.

You will lead design discussions, assess requirements for security and performance, and ensure alignment with PSP architecture standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5–7 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise technology solutions including software development, solution architecture, and system integration.
Hands-on experience designing and delivering web applications, APIs, integrations, cloud-native solutions, and data platforms (Snowflake or similar).
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, architecture principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices across the full lifecycle.
Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, maintainable, and supportable technology solutions.
Experience leveraging AI-enabled technologies, including generative AI and agentic AI tools, to enhance development and design outcomes.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills for technical-to-business communication.
Knowledge of investment management or financial services domains and technology delivery in Agile environments.
Bilingual English and French for frequent collaboration with teams globally and locally.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end technology solutions including Web apps, Snowflake data solutions, integrations, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements focusing on security, resiliency, performance, and maintainability.
Plan, architect, document, and maintain solution designs, mapping dependencies and technical decisions.
Provide technical guidance to delivery teams and facilitate design sessions and decision-making.
Support implementation and ensure delivered solutions align with approved design while resolving issues.
Research emerging technologies and run proofs of concept to assess benefits and fit.
Ensure designs comply with PSP SDLC, architecture standards, security, data governance, and controls.
