Job summary

Kinaxis is seeking a Solution Architect, Enterprise Applications to transform how our business operates through innovative, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions. You will lead architecture for cross-functional initiatives, translate business needs into architectures, and mentor teams with a focus on governance and API design.

The role requires 7–10 years in senior technical architecture roles, a strong background in security and data integration, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in solution architecture or related senior technical roles.
• Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives involving multiple business functions and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, privacy, compliance, and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs and objectives into scalable, secure enterprise solutions across HR, Finance, Corporate IT, Cloud Services, Facilities, Legal, Security, collaboration, productivity, and data platforms.
• Lead architecture for complex, cross-functional initiatives, defining solution approaches, patterns, and technical direction.
• Design end-to-end solutions balancing business value, user experience, security, compliance, scalability, governance, and cost efficiency.
• Guide architectural decisions to align with business outcomes.
• Develop architecture artifacts including designs, integration patterns, data flows, APIs, workflows, diagrams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical adoption opportunities.
• Partner with leaders to shape roadmaps, evaluate investments, and support build-versus-buy decisions.
• Communicate architectural recommendations, trade-offs, risks, and impacts to technical and business audiences.
• Mentor teams, lead architecture reviews, promote reusable patterns and standards.

• Mentor technical teams, lead architecture reviews, and promote reusable patterns, standards, and best practices across the organization.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in solution architecture, enterprise applications architecture, or related senior technical roles.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise‑scale initiatives involving multiple business functions and stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in architecture modeling, business process and service design, data and integration architecture, API design, and non‑functional requirements.
• Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and establish effective architectural approaches where limited precedent exists.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, privacy, compliance, and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive decisions and alignment without direct authority.
