Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team in Markham, ON. You will design scalable technology solutions, guide complex implementations, and ensure architecture aligns with business goals, security, and IT strategy.

The role emphasizes collaborating with product owners, developers, and vendors, while maintaining architecture diagrams and ADRs to support governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in solution architecture, application design, and technical solution development.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint: implementation, configuration, architecture.
• Experience across complex multi-platform environments.
• Experience with enterprise apps like financial systems, CRM, or document mgmt.
• Experience with Salesforce, AWS, MuleSoft or similar enterprise tech is a plus.
• Experience evaluating or integrating AI/GenAI with security, privacy, governance, and auditability.
• Strong understanding of EA, integration, data governance, SDLC, and security-by-design.
• Ability to produce clear technical docs and communicate to tech and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established financial services organization seeking a Solution Architect to join its Enterprise Architecture team. This role will focus on designing scalable technology solutions, guiding complex implementations, and ensuring architecture aligns with business objectives, security requirements, and IT strategy.

Location: Markham, ON | Full-Time, Permanent | Hybrid

Salary: $115- $145K

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and business requirements.
• Evaluate proposed solutions, identify risks and trade-offs, and support architecture governance and decision-making.
• Contribute to technology strategy, roadmaps, budgeting, and evaluation of emerging technologies.
• Assess current applications, systems, and data models and develop target-state architecture and solution blueprints.
• Support enterprise integrations, data architecture, governance, and technology lifecycle initiatives.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for AI, GenAI, and automation, considering security, privacy, regulatory requirements, data sensitivity, and cost.
• Partner with product owners, developers, vendors, and delivery teams throughout solution design and implementation.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, models, interface specifications, and architecture decision records.
• Incorporate security, privacy, compliance, and risk considerations into solution design.
• Provide technical guidance to business and IT stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, application design, and technical solution development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint, including implementation, configuration, and architecture.
• Experience working across complex, multi-platform technology environments.
• Experience with enterprise applications such as financial systems, CRM, or document management platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce, AWS, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise technologies is an asset.
• Experience evaluating or integrating AI/GenAI solutions with consideration for security, privacy, governance, and auditability.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration, data governance, SDLC, and security-by-design.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
