Job summary

The incumbent will hold MOLO certification and will travel between facilities, reporting to the Superintendent of Solid Waste Operations. This is a permanent full-time position with union involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising unionized Environmental Services Workers
• Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) MOLO certification required
• Strong knowledge of landfill and solid waste operations and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day solid waste operations across multiple sites including landfills, transfer stations, and recycling depots
• Coordinate operational activities, safety, regulatory compliance, and service delivery with staff and contractors
• Travel between facilities using a corporate vehicle and liaise with regulators and the public
