Job summary

Canadian Solar is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support planning and coordination for PV and BESS facilities. The role involves developing daily to long-range operational plans and ensuring proper documentation and timing for all planned activities.

You will collaborate with field technicians, regional managers, engineering, asset management, and third-party service providers to align execution plans and confirm readiness for planned work while maintaining clear communication with

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Renewable Energy, Electrical Technology, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in operations coordination, maintenance planning, control centre operations, or renewable energy operations preferred.
Experience with CMMS, work order systems, or SCADA environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate planned maintenance, outages, derates, testing, inspections, and operational activities for PV and BESS facilities.
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and longer-range operational plans for control centre activities.
Review planned work requests and ensure documentation, scope, timing, and impact assessment are complete.
Work with field technicians, regional managers, engineering, asset management, and third-party service providers to align execution plans.
