Job summary

Okanagan Staffing Services Inc. is seeking a senior solar installation lead located in the South Okanagan region.

The role involves managing projects from start to finish, guiding installation teams, and ensuring safety and quality across multiple concurrent projects. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years in the solar industry, strong technical knowledge, and excellent customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

Permanent Position ready to hire immediately – Located in South Okanagan

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee solar PV installation projects from start to completion
• Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams
• Lead, motivate, and support team members to ensure strong performance
• Coordinate project timelines, priorities, and resources
• Troubleshoot technical and project-related issues
• Ensure installations meet safety, quality, and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and other stakeholders
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Certified FSR Journeyman an asset and or Electrician (Class A, B, or equivalent)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the solar industry
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
