Job summary

BluEarth Renewables seeks a Senior Renewable Development Leader to drive the growth of its Canadian project portfolio, including wind, solar, and storage. You will guide projects from origination through key milestones, shaping execution plans, budgets, and risk strategies while mentoring a nimble Canadian team.

The role requires deep cross-functional coordination, strong stakeholder engagement, and ability to navigate development challenges in a fast-paced environment, with travel within Canada

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Sciences, Project Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive renewable energy project development experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading development teams or mentoring project developers.
• Strong experience in land strategy, stakeholder engagement, interconnection, permitting coordination, and commercial project advancement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and advancement of BluEarth’s Canadian renewable energy portfolio (wind, solar, storage).
• Drive projects from origination through milestones to construction readiness.
• Develop execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and coach a Canadian development team while remaining involved in execution.
• Collaborate across Regulatory, Engineering, Commercial, Financing, Legal, and Operations.
