Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Software Verification Specialist to join the LUMED software development team. You will design and execute test strategies, develop automated and manual test cases, and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.

A key focus is maintaining high quality and advancing verification practices to save lives. You will plan, execute, and document verification activities, create and maintain test suites, and analyze results to ensure compliance with requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4 years of professional related experience in automated software verification accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including Playwright and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio Code.

Responsibilities

It involves designing and executing test strategies, developing automated and manual test cases, and collaborating closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects. Primary Duties

• Plan, execute, and document software verification activities to ensure products meet functional requirements, quality standards, and organizational expectations.
• Design, develop, and maintain functional test cases (manual and automated) to validate application behavior across different components and environments.
• Implement and maintain automated test suites to support continuous testing, improve test coverage, and increase efficiency.
• Analyze test results, clearly document defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and effective retesting.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test strategies, verification plans, and test documentation to ensure traceability and enable continuous improvement.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education, Training and Experience

• Bachelor degree required in Computer Science or a related field.
• No previous experience required.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 4 years of professional related experience in automated software verification is required, including:
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and verification practices.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including Playwright and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio Code.
