bioMérieux Canada Inc. is seeking a Field Application Specialist I to provide solution-oriented training, technical support and troubleshooting at customer sites and remotely. You will work with customers to ensure efficient implementation and go live of new instrumentation, while retaining current business and strengthening relationships for loyalty and referrals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with quality procedures. Domestic travel approx.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in microbiology/life sciences.

• Provide consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet key performance indicators.
• Support revenue initiatives and ensure work complies with quality procedures and standards.

Field Application Specialist I

Position Summary

Primary Duties

• Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation, and ongoing support of bioMérieux’s diagnostic product lines within the Canada customer base.
• Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong professional relationships with all customers.
• Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation in bioMérieux’s CRM system; consulting as appropriate with Sales Partners, Application Specialists, Field Service, IT Resources, Management teams, and Local/Global Support Teams.
• Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators.
• Responsible for efficient territory management within operating expense budget.
• Support bioMérieux revenue initiatives.
• Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in microbiology/molecular or life sciences field.
• 4 years related experience defined in the section below will be accepted in lieu of degree)

Preferred Education & Experience

• Master's in microbiology/molecular or life sciences field
• MLT certification
• Clinical laboratory experience or bioMérieux product experience
• Experience with Health Canada regulations and/or other laboratory credentialing standards
• Experience with related technical field applications support
• Laboratory Information System (LIS) or Connectivity/Networking experience
• IT & software experience
