Qualifications

  • Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation, and ongoing support of bioMérieux’s diagnostic product lines within the Canada customer base.
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong professional relationships with all customers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation in bioMérieux’s CRM system; collaborate with Sales Partners, Application Specialists, Field Service, IT, Management, and Support Teams.
  • Provide consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet key performance indicators.
  • Support revenue initiatives and ensure work complies with quality procedures and standards.

Field Application Specialist I
Position Summary

Primary Duties
  • Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation, and ongoing support of bioMérieux’s diagnostic product lines within the Canada customer base.
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong professional relationships with all customers.
  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation in bioMérieux’s CRM system; consulting as appropriate with Sales Partners, Application Specialists, Field Service, IT Resources, Management teams, and Local/Global Support Teams.
  • Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for efficient territory management within operating expense budget.
  • Support bioMérieux revenue initiatives.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in microbiology/molecular or life sciences field.
  • 4 years related experience defined in the section below will be accepted in lieu of degree)
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Master's in microbiology/molecular or life sciences field
  • MLT certification
  • Clinical laboratory experience or bioMérieux product experience
  • Experience with Health Canada regulations and/or other laboratory credentialing standards
  • Experience with related technical field applications support
  • Laboratory Information System (LIS) or Connectivity/Networking experience
  • IT & software experience
