$30/hr – $33/hr

The Development Support team member works with development teams to provide early testing, documentation creation (e.g., test cases, test briefs, QA Confluence pages), and handles various tasks to support the Core QA team. They provide feedback to QA Leads on area/feature health and communicate testing status and needs to development teams. They serve as the primary contact for QA, addressing design questions and testing inquiries.

This is a hybrid role in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with development teams on testing early stages and documentation.
2. Provide feedback and communicate testing status to QA Leads and development teams.
3. Serve as the main contact point for QA design questions and testing updates.

Experience and Skills

• Experience with multiple development cycles, especially in Cinematics, In-game moments, Environment, or Content testing.
• Understanding of cinematic workflows, triggers, transitions, dialogue, audio, camera, animation, environmental and visual testing, performance, platform-specific testing, and co-op/multiplayer testing.
• Ability to write testing instructions and estimate testing efforts.
• Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve skills.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with Unreal Engine, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Strong teaching and adaptable communication skills.
