Insight Global is seeking an experienced software engineering professional to join a major Canadian Space Company. The ideal candidate will have C++ software development experience and be ready to step into an leadership role coordinating product development and prioritization for bug fixes and customer releases.

The position is on-site four days per week on the west island of Montreal. Candidates must be eligible for Reliability and Controlled Goods Clearances and speak both French and English

Formación

• 5+ years of software development experience in C++.
• 2+ years of software engineering leadership experience (team lead, tech lead, scrum master, product owner or product lead).
• Bilingual FR/EN.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and Scrum/Agile project delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate product development and ensure correct prioritization for bug fixes and customer releases.
• Lead planning and execution for bug fixes and customer releases to meet timelines.
• Ensure alignment with stakeholders and maintain engineering discipline across the team.
• Work on-site four days per week in the west Island of Montreal and support collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will have C++ software engineering experience and be comfortable moving into an entirely leadership role. This position will be responsible for the coordination of product development, ensuring the team is handling the correct prioritization for bug fixes and customer releases. This role is on-site x4 days per week in the west Island of Monreal. Candidates must be eligible for both Reliability and Controlled Goods Clearances

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years of software development experience in C++ 2+ years of software engineering leadership experience such as a team lead, tech lead, scrum master, product owner or product lead

Bilingual FR/EN Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and scrum/agile project delivery

*Pay range for this role is between $70/hr - 85/hr CAD.
